Description
A special bottling to celebrate the 60th year of Suntory. 1899 refers to the year of opening of Torii Shinjiro’s (the founder of Suntory) wine shop (Torii Shoten) and marks the beginning of what eventually became Suntory. Today, it is the country’s largest and most recognizable producer of quality whisky. This bottle is released in February 1983. A rare and memorable whisky. Please note that this is an old bottling.
Some said it was the predecessor to Hibiki.
‘Hibiki before Hibiki’
**Due to the age of almost 35 years, the bottle and box has age-related signs of wear. The level of the bottle is very good.
